Klong Bangluang Klong Bangluang or Klong Bangkok Yai is the canal way out to Chao Phraya River. Once, during Thonburi was created as a new capital, most of senior officials occupied house at this area because it was near to the Palace. So that, the people called such area as Bang Kaa Luang Canal and turn to be Bang Luang Canal at the present. (Klong Bangluang) Presently, Klong Bangluang is communities along the river which bring alive back by a former of Baan Silapin (The House of Artist) to maintain the memories of the past and traditional ways of life. The Canal has been restored into a culture tourist area, which can see from the architecture, habitation, ancient remain, and former community of residents living.
